Liu Jingchong, 38, a man from Guangdong Province who were rich and bored of his wealth and prefer to get rid of all his property. Liu Jingchong was originally a former businessman in the field of manufacturing and textile.

“It is true that I earned a lot of money and I can’t say I hated my life,” Jingchong told Central European News. “I would even say that I loved it, but all that changed when friends of mine and I had a car accident in a remote part of the country in northwestern China’s Qinghai province.”





“We needed to get a new car and not all of us were fit to travel immediately. But as I was relatively OK, I stayed in a hotel where about the only thing to do was read a book on Buddhism.”
“I have to say it’s changed my life.”
After the accident Liu chose to live more simply in a small house and build a library filled with books about Buddhism and simplicity.

 Liu also very touched by the Buddha's sentence says "property only makes suffering". Finally he sold all his wealth. “Actually, I am very happy if people come to visit me. I love to meet new people in search of something more, and welcome the chance to share experiences.” said Liu.
